THE CONCERT IS POSTPONED

There are a number of obvious similarities between coffee and classical music. They can be soft some of the time, and other times robust and harsh. There are of course also a number of ways to combine all of this, something which connoisseurs have come to appreciate. Many renowned composers have been inspired by coffee, and a number of them even drank it themselves in large quantities. Examples include Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and the performer Glenn Gould. In these parts, we are incredibly fortunate to have Carlos Moniclair and his “hosCarlos” café and bar, and for this concert special with coffee and Carlos we have been doubly lucky to have captured the globe-trotting saxophonist Rolf-Erik Nystrøm to take us on a musical journey that traces the routes our coffee has travelled. It all started with a few magical beans from Ethiopia in the 6th – 7th centuries…
