Ian Anderson, violist and composer, is back with us and will perform in several concerts this spring, tonight in a piano quartet by the little known Belgian composer Guillaume Lekeu, a pupil of César Franck. Anderson chose the work and describes it as ”beautiful and charming; I am certain that it will please the audience”. Works by other and better known composers, e.g. Mozart, are also on the programme.
Ian Anderson is Munor’s Artist in Residence for 2024-25.
